  Saugeen Springs is the kind of place where childhood memories are formed. "A River Runs Through it" could be the tagline for this campground, as the Saugeen River winds its way through, carrying sticks, ducks, muskrat and hundreds and hundreds of tubing kids and kids-at-heart. The best sites to be had are by the river, where you can put a folding chair in the current and hang on for dear life, and let the water take your cares and hat away. The campground itself is nicely organized, with a good mix of seasonal and transient campers. The seasonal campers are welcoming, and not territorial. There's enough to do for kids, and a pretty cool workout area. Pet friendly. Enough shade. You pay for wifi, but it's pretty good. Book well in advance, or keep an eye out for cancellations closer to your camping date. Half-way between Durham and Hanover for civilization. Recommended.

  What an incredible camp ground, friendly staff, HUGE lots for camping on, lots to do! definitely recommend this site for family fun!!

  I am a grandpa and have camped there three times and looking forward to coming again. Nice sized sites , an awesome family run campground with fun activities for all !

  Super place to go and slowly drift down the river for a couple hours. A super relaxing way to get the straps of your sandals completely fried (bronzed(no it was burnt...)) Just remember to reapply sunscreen and you will be golden. Also I think we got a bucket, like a small front end loader full of wood for our group dropped off not too far from the campfire which was really awesome.
